3. Website Hosting

To be completed before publication. A hosting provider has not yet been selected.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The current website code does not implement analytics or advertising cookies.

I do not currently use my own advertising or marketing tracking technologies on this website.

In particular, I do not currently use:

Any cookies or similar technologies introduced by the selected hosting provider must be documented here before publication.

If additional analytics, advertising or marketing technologies are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly and, where legally required, appropriate consent will be obtained.

4a. Google Fonts

This website uses DM Sans and Manrope through the Google Fonts Web API to display text. Your browser requests stylesheets and font files from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. These requests transmit your IP address and technical request information to Google.

According to Google, the Google Fonts Web API does not set or log cookies and is not used to create end-user profiles or serve targeted advertising.

Further information: Google Fonts FAQ and Google Privacy Policy.

Before publication: confirm the applicable legal basis and international-transfer requirements for externally loaded fonts, or serve the font files locally and update this section. Adding this notice does not change how fonts are loaded.

5. Contact by Email

If you contact me by email, the personal data contained in your message will be processed in order to respond to and manage your inquiry.

The information processed may include:

If your inquiry relates to a contract, a software license or steps taken before entering into a contract, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

For general inquiries, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the efficient processing and answering of inquiries.

Email data will be retained only for as long as necessary to process the inquiry, unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate business reasons require longer retention.

6. Customer and Contract Data

If you purchase or request an AnyNC software license, I may process personal data that is necessary to prepare, conclude and perform the contract.

This may include:

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Data that must be retained due to statutory tax, accounting or commercial-law obligations is stored for the legally required retention period.

The legal basis for such retention is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

7. Software Licensing and Activation

To request a Pro trial, users create a license request file (.c2v) inside AnyNC and email it to anync.software@gmail.com. A signed license file (.v2c) is returned for import through the About section of the application.

A standard license request file contains an encrypted computer UUID and the request date. License records generated by the administration tool can include the computer UUID, name, company, country, email address, license type, request date and expiry date, together with license and customer identifiers.

For the provision, activation, validation and administration of AnyNC software licenses, data necessary for managing the respective license may be processed.

Depending on the licensing method used, this may include:

Such data is processed only to the extent necessary to provide, secure and administer the AnyNC license.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as the processing is necessary to perform the software license agreement.

Where processing is necessary to prevent misuse, unauthorized duplication or manipulation of software licenses, processing may additionally be based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The legitimate interest is the protection of the software, licensing system and contractual usage rights.

8. Invoices and Accounting

If you purchase an AnyNC license or other service, information required for invoicing and accounting will be processed.

This may include:

Accounting and tax-related documents are retained for the periods required under German law.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

9. Payments

If payment is made by bank transfer, payment-related information transmitted by the relevant banks may be processed in order to identify and assign the payment.

This may include:

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Banks and financial institutions involved in the transaction process personal data under their own legal responsibilities and privacy policies.

If additional payment providers such as PayPal, Stripe or other online payment services are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

10. Software Downloads

The current download buttons link to an external download service at nx2398.your-storageshare.de. Clicking a download button connects your browser to that service.

To be completed before publication: confirm the download provider name, privacy-notice link, processing locations and log-retention periods. For licensing, confirm the email and storage providers used and the retention periods for request files and related correspondence.

If AnyNC software or related files are made available for download through this website or a linked service, technical information may be processed by the respective hosting or download provider when the file is accessed.

This may include IP address, time of access, device and browser information.

The processing is necessary to technically provide the requested download.

Where processing is carried out directly by me, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the download relates to a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The legitimate interest is the reliable and secure distribution of AnyNC software.

11. Disclosure of Personal Data

Personal data will not be sold to third parties.

Personal data may be disclosed only where necessary, for example to:

Where service providers process personal data on my behalf, they are used in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.

12. International Data Transfers

Some service providers, particularly global technology providers such as Google, may process information in countries outside Germany or the European Economic Area.

Where personal data is transferred to a third country, appropriate safeguards required under the GDPR are used where applicable.

These may include an adequacy decision of the European Commission, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable, or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

13. Data Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

Different retention periods may apply depending on the type of data.

For example:

Data will be deleted or anonymized when there is no longer a legal or legitimate reason to retain it.

14. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right, subject to the applicable legal requirements, to:

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

15. Right to Object

Where personal data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing on grounds relating to your particular situation.

If personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object to such processing at any time.

16. Right to Lodge a Complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates applicable data protection law.

The competent supervisory authority for Baden-Württemberg is:

The State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg

(Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg – LfDI BW)

You may also contact another competent data protection supervisory authority.

17. Data Security

Appropriate technical and organizational measures are used to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or disclosure.

[Before publication: enable and verify HTTPS with the selected hosting provider, then document it here.]

Please note that data transmission over the internet, including communication by email, cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure.
